Teryl Rothery
Teryl Rothery is an actor from Canada who became famous for portraying Dr. Janet Fraiser in 'Stargate the SG-1'. Other memorable TV roles she has played include Lt. Maggie Weston on 'Exosquad, M.O.M. Carol Bloom in Martin Mystery', Grace Sherman and J.L. in The Good Doctor. In the big screen, she's appeared in films like "Magic in the water", 'Whisper', and "What an Idiot". A native of British Columbia, Rothery had always dreamed of becoming an actor. Her first professional experience was in the stage when she was 13 years old, appearing as a dancer in the musical 'Bye Bye birdie'. In recognition of her performance in her company's stage production of 'Annie Get Your Gun She was awarded the Most Outstanding Performer Award. A skilled voice actor, she began her TV career as the voice of Mai in the BLT dub version of the Japanese anime "Dragon Ball" in 1986. A year later she was also an actress on screen in an episode on 'Stingray'. Active since the year 1980, Rothery has accumulated over 170 credits from TV and film in her resume to date. Rothery made her big screen debut in 1994's family drama drama film "Andre". In the 1995 adventure film "Magic in the Water", she was cast as Beth. She was also in the 2005 direct-to-video movie "The Sandlot 2". In the 2007 crime drama Whisper, she shared screen space alongside Blake Woodruff and Jennifer Shirley. She made her most recent filmtic appearance in 2014's romantic comedy called 'What an Idiot.
