Sarah Chalke

Sarah Chalke was conceived in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, 27 August 1976. Angie Chalke, and Doug Chalke are her parents. She is the middle child. She has one older sister Natasha Chalke and one younger, Piper Chalke. Sarah's first acting role was in City Boy (1992), an adaptation of a film for television. After her debut film she auditioned in 1993 for the role of "Becky" of Roseanne (1988). The show was seeking an alternative to Alicia Goranson, who left the show to go to the college of her choice. Sarah completed her high school graduation in 1995 during the filming of the 1994-1995 seasons of Roseanne (1988). Also, in 1994, Sarah co-starred in the film, Ernest Goes to School (1994) alongside Jim Varney. Then, in 1996 she starred in 2 films, including Robin of Locksley (1996) and Stand Against Fear (1996) where she played a cheerleadernamed "Krista Wilson". In 1998, just a year following the time that Roseanne (1988) was over, Sarah was asked to perform in a show titled Nothing Too Good for a Cowboy (1998). The show was based on the television movie with the same name and title, called Nothing Too Good for a Cowboy (1998) which Sarah was also a part of. She assumed Becky's (1988) role from Alicia Goranson. She said she wanted to end her acting career and go to college. (2001) (1993-1997) She played the older sister of Sara Gilbert on Roseanne (1988) although she's more youthful in real life. Participated in the 1999 CCMA award ceremony and was awarded an award to the most successful single of 1999. September 1999 eight, appeared in Vancouver theatre productions. The actress is fluent in French, German and Spanish. She volunteers at a hospice that cares for patients with terminal illnesses and is employed for the Audrey Hepburn Children's Fund. Chalke enjoys cooking with her pals (especially Thai or sushi) she also plays the guitar, hike, ski (she's an instructor) and kayaking. Her father is an attorney, and both of her parents run an agency for adoption of children. She went with her parents to China two years ago to help coordinate the adoptions of numerous orphans.
