Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell has worked as a chef, TV host in America and an instructor at Institute of Culinary Education. Burrell hosts Secrets of a Restaurant Chef at the Food Network. Anne Burrell, a Food Network star with her trademark spiky blonde hair and a pumped up personality reveals easy to learn techniques and eliminates the fear of eating at restaurants in her series Secrets of a Restaurant. Chef Burrell has worked in several of the most prestigious eateries located in New York, studied the culinary landscape and traditions of Italy and competed in the Food Network's Iron Chef America. Growing up in upstate New York, Chef Burrell developed a passion for cooking and eating in her early years. She pursued her passion for working in the restaurant business by enrolment at The Culinary Institute of America following her graduation in English as well as Communication at Canisius College, Buffalo NY. I loved every minute that I was a student at The Culinary Institute of America she declares. I couldn't learn enough couldn't do enough couldn't work hard enough. After graduating, chef Burrell was in Italy for one year studying at the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. She also worked in La Taverna del Lupo and La Bottega del 30 (a Michelin highly rated restaurant) in Tuscany. In Italy she gained an appreciation and appreciation for Italian cuisine. It had a significant influence on her perception of food. Burrell is a part of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board which brightens children who are facing difficulties. She also serves as an Juvenile diabetes research foundation Celebrity Ambassador where she advocates for children with diabetes and awareness. As an inspirational speaker, she makes trips across the country to speak about her passion for cuisine and to promote her professional career as a chef. Anne was always grateful that she had the opportunity to share her love of and her passion for cooking, with people around the world.
